Jeffrey Tung


Jeff co-founded CPS in 2013 with Michael Arblaster. From 2013-2016, he was co-CEO of Windley Ely in charge of operations and technology as well as expanding the geographic footprint of the team. He quickly became known as one of the leading Canadian experts on experience rating and consulted with Canada’s largest employers and represented their interests to the provincial governments.

More recently, Jeff led the acquisition of KGK Science for CPS, a leading CRO focused on the nutraceutical sector. He was responsible for turning around the operations and financial controls of the business. He worked with the management team to identify a number of growth areas which ultimately led to the sale of the business.

Jeff is also part of the founding management team of Auxly Cannabis Group as CFO/COO, a Canadian publicly traded company. During Jeff’s tenure he:

  • Raised over $300M in equity financing and became only the 3rd cannabis company to have a financing led by a Big Five Canadian bank,
  • Completed 5 acquisitions and made over 10 investments, and
  • Grew the company to over 300 employees across three continents

Jeff also served on 3 public company boards on behalf of Auxly and independently. Prior to founding CPS, Jeff was at McKinsey & Company, where he led several industry shaping deals in the Telecom, Banking, and Utility industries. He has successfully negotiated several asset spinoffs and outsourcing deals totaling in excess of $4 Billion USD in value. He was also the youngest to ever been promoted to Engagement Manager in the McKinsey Canada office.

Jeff holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business, graduating at the top of his class; he also holds a Bachelors of Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia
