Michael co-founded CPS in 2013, and leads the firm alongside Jeff Tung and Jason Fenn.
Michael leads sourcing an transaction efforts, works closely with our portfolio company management teams to scale and capture value. Mike focuses particularly on corporate development, capital optimization, and driving sales improvement across our portfolio.
Prior to CPS, Michael was in the mergers and acquisitions group of TD Bank, where he advised on over $5B in transactions across multiple industries. He was particularly valuable in the 2012 sale of Arctic Glacier Inc. out of CCAA protection to H.I.G. Capital, which was awarded Mid-Size Company Transaction of the Year by the Turnaround Management Association.
Michael holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business, and a BS from the University of Waterloo.
